Meters must be installed and/inspected by NAMWCO maintenance. After an approved installation, the meter(s) are the property of the homeowner. Meter installation costs are determined by difficulty of installation, time, labor, and materials. Costs vary. Homeowner are encouraged to periodically inspect their water meters and meter-containment boxes. Keep dirt and/or vegetation away from the lid to make it easier for the meter reader to find the meter; this will also reduce delays, if emergency shut off is needed.
